Pre-course

Cast your vision & Clarify your strengths

Get started right away! As soon as you enroll, you’ll get access to your portal and two powerful pre-course lessons. This is the foundation for the course. I lead you through a visualization exercise to cast a vision for the future of your business. You will then uncover your strengths and develop your own unique value proposition.

Module 1

Define your Ideal Client

You will learn how to craft your ideal client avatar. I share why it’s vital to think of this one person every step of the way as you build out your unique process. By the end of this module, you will understand exactly who your ideal client is, what they want, and how you can serve them.

Module 2

The Process Planning Framework

Before you can develop your unique process you must first assess where your business is today. You’ll look at what isn’t working and brainstorm solutions in order to develop a framework for your new process. In this module, you will uncover which core service offering is the best fit for you and your ideal client.

Module 3

The Art of outlining your internal process

From chaos to coordinated. You’ll learn how to break down your new framework into actionable steps that will create a natural flow internally. I provide examples from my own process to help you create numbered steps, clear descriptions, internal checklists, and more. By the end of this module, you’ll have a detailed internal process that’ll keep you organized and allow you to grow your business.

Module 4

Develop your unique client journey

This is where you dive deep into understanding how to deliver the best experience to your clients. In this module, you’ll look at your newly developed process with a different lens. You’ll determine if it’s the right fit for your ideal client, right down to the nitty-gritty detail of payment schedules. In this module, I also share my own client journey checklist as a model to help you create your own.

Module 5

Promote your new process

You’ll learn simple attraction strategies to get the word out about your new unique process. I share marketing techniques such as social media, website, and email marketing to promote your new process. You’ll get access to my Canva Template, to help you create your own process flow visual. By the end of this module, you will be ready to leverage your process to attract the clients you deserve.

  • I’m in! What happens next?
    • First, let’s do a little dance! You made an incredibly amazing decision for your business, so you should celebrate!Next, we’ll get your invite to Power of Process (aka POP) sent to your inbox right away! This email will confirm your enrollment and guide you through the POP Members Portal as well as the Private Facebook Group. Once you log into your portal, you can watch the welcome video, and dive right into the pre-course work. It’s immediately available to you so that you can get started right away!Last thing: The course officially begins on Friday, April 8 with the release of Module 1.

  • Do I get immediate access to the course when I sign up?
    • I am a firm believer in community and the power of accountability so I love it when our students get to go through the program together. For that reason, we reveal one module per week for 5 weeks starting on April 8. You can however kickstart your process journey with the pre-course work as soon as you sign up. It is sitting in the portal awaiting your arrival!

  • How many hours do I need to commit to the program every week to get results?
    • Before I answer, I ask you: ”How successful do you want to be”? It’s just like anything in life, the more you put in, the more you get out.  Every week a new module will become available inside your members portal. Each module varies in length and complexity. I recommend you block out 3-4 hours a week to do the course work and participate in the community with the other members. There will always be more work than you can do but the pace you go is completely up to you. 

  • How much time will I get with you, Rebecca?
    • Power of Process is a live course, so the best way is to join me and other members in our weekly live coaching calls and live Q&As, where I answer as many questions as possible during our virtual calls. We have 5 one-hour direct live group coaching calls and 5 thirty-minute Facebook Live Q&As.

  • What if I can’t make the live coaching calls or Q&As?
    • Don’t worry, we have your back! All of our coaching calls will be recorded and the replay will become available inside the members portal within 24hours for you to watch (and rewatch) when you can. The same applies to our Facebook Live Q&As (these are saved in our private Facebook group and they are the perfect place to connect with me via the comment section.

  • I’m worried I won’t have time to commit to the course and start falling behind.
    • I totally get it! Time is so precious and we want to give it our all. The great news is that with Power of Process you have Lifetime Access, so you can go at your own pace. Also, I’ve organized the modules to be step-by-step and bite-sized in order to eliminate the overwhelm that comes with any type of learning.

  • Is Power of Process good for students of design or designers just starting out their journey?
    • POP is still impactful if you’re just at the beginning of your design business journey. You’ll have an easier time implementing what you learn because you have no bad habits to break! You will have access to POP for the lifetime of the course so that you’ll always be able to refer back to it as you grow.I don’t want you to make the same mistakes that I made. Why did I create this program? Because over a decade in the industry also means a lot of lessons learned the hard way, and I’d like you to avoid some along the way.

    • I’m not a designer, can I take this course?
      • Yes! This course is a great foundation for any creative entrepreneur.
        POP is customized for interior designers and the content is focused on running a successful and thriving interior design business. However, many concepts that we cover – vision casting; finding your strengths; identifying your ideal client; defining your internal process; developing an elevated client experience – apply to all creative entrepreneurs. Most of our members are interior designers, stagers, or decorators, so we don’t customize the program to other specialties, but you are welcome to join us and apply what we teach to your industry.
